Community Lunch & Learn
The new Community Lunch & Learn encourages a sense of community among students and staff during a set period in the middle of the day.
Lunch is served in various locations throughout Shawnee High School during this entire time period. Students are able to purchase food at kiosks and snack stands situated throughout the building, as well as the cafeteria.
This time of year, as many alumni are home for the holidays and recent alumni enjoy visiting high school teachers and administrators, we want to remind you of our Visitor Access Policy.
In order to cause the least disruption to the school day, we ask that you visit at the end of the school day and follow all guidelines. Entrance to all buildings is permissible through the main office doors, all visitors must go directly to the main office and have a Photo ID.
Concern for the safety and well being of our entire school community is the rationale behind our Visitor Access Policy. We are eager to reconnect with all alumni and thank you for your cooperation and attention to proper visitation procedures.
Where Are They Now? Taping in 2017
Since 2002, we have interviewed alumni from all four of our high schools in a variety of professions for LDTV's "Where Are They Now?" program. Another round of interviews has been scheduled for February 2017. All interviews are conducted in the studio or via Skype and will be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3 pm. We are looking for successful alumni who have graduated from Lenape, Shawnee, Cherokee and Seneca from the first graduating classes on through (and including) the class of 2007. The new programs will air on LDTV at intervals throughout the year.
Anyone interested in participating, or in nominating someone, should contact John Donaldson at email@example.com
The LRHSD Mobile App
The Lenape Regional High School District is excited to announce the launch of the LRHSD Mobile App, which provides users with access to a variety of district information at anytime, from anywhere.
The LRHSD Mobile App enables users to quickly and easily connect with everything from district news, to athletic and activity schedules, to social media, in one mobile-friendly view. Users can choose to subscribe to information for one or more of the district’s high schools, as well as from specific clubs, activities and sports.
Students and parents can access mobile friendly views of grades, assignments and cafeteria balances on the LRHSD Mobile App. The app even allows students and parents the choice to be notified whenever class grades are updated or when a cafeteria account balance runs low.
In February of 2014, the process of researching a mobile app for the LRHSD began by meeting with parents, students and staff focus groups to understand what features they would most like to see in an LRHSD branded app. By the summer of 2014, the early stages of development on the LRHSD Mobile App had begun. Throughout the 2014-2015 school year, the district has been working to refine the app in order to give users the best experience possible. Over recent months, a small group of students, parents/guardians and staff have been beta testing the LRHSD Mobile App in advance of the public release.
Search for friends and make new connections with the online community! All you need to do to take advantage of all the community has to offer is to proceed through the registration process to establish an account.
